Born in Southern Illinois in a heavily German area, my family moved to the northwest when I was in grade school. I have lived in Idaho most of my life, raised three children with my Idaho born husband and now enjoy several grandchildren here. I am a retired English teacher with a constant yearning to write and share with others. I have written many materials for the women of the Lutheran church, youth programs, and retreats. I am working on my first fiction novel about German immigrants of the 1850s and love the involved research bringing me back to my German roots.
